Norval Morrisseau - Anishinabe Art

During our exploration of First Nations' cultures in Canada we have looked at how people used the environment in different ways to meet their needs for important things like Food, Shelter and Water.
We have also looked at the importance of Traditional Legends in both entertaining and sharing important lessons with the community. Norval Morrisseau is considered the Grandfather of Native Art because he was one of the first visual artists to describe these important teachings through visual art.
