The Hobbit - An unexpected Journey: Production Diary No.1
It takes many people to make a movie.
From Pre-production where people write a script and designers map out the way the movie should look to Production where camera-people shoot film of actors playing their parts on sets built by carpenters there is an opportunity for people to add their creativity to the movie in many different ways. Finally in post-production, the editors cut and paste the best shots and organize them into a finished movie along with music, sound and other special effects.
As you watch this video, try to find all the different kinds of jobs that people need to do in order to create this film.
Ask yourself which parts could your creativity best be used to add a unique quality to the finished product.
